Kalaya is a Registered Behavior Technician with a Master’s Degree from Ball State University in ABA with an Emphasis in Autism and a  B.A. in Psychology from San Jose State University.

Her passion for mental health and community work has led her to working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disorders. Having been an RBT for over 8 years, she has gained experience working in the community, homes, school districts, and clinics. In her previous work at a clinic, Kalaya led social skills groups for young children (ages 3-6) and pre-teens/teens (ages 9-16). She aims to help children develop functional communication and skills to aid in their everyday lives. Kalaya strives to continue serving the Bay Area community through developing her profession and pursuing further education to become a BCBA.

Outside of work, Kalaya spends time with her family and friends. She likes to read, go to the beach, and go hiking.
