ASSISTING PARENTS WITH BEHAVIORAL MANAGEMENT OF ADHD

The COGENT program is designed to empower parents and caregivers with practical strategies and techniques to effectively manage the challenges associated with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children. This curriculum aims to enhance parents’ knowledge, skills, and confidence in promoting positive behavior, improving communication, and creating supportive environments for their children with ADHD.

COGENT is a 10-session program for parents with children ages 5-12 years of age who have been diagnosed with ADHD and who are looking to improve their relationship with their child and develop new ways to address challenging behaviors.


WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THE COGENT PROGRAM

Parents with children ages 5-12 years of age who have been diagnosed or are struggling with:

  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder
  • ADHD
  • Temper Tantrums
  • Disruptive behavior in the school setting
  • Sleep challenges 
  • Anxiety 
  • Social development and play skills
