Candace Heggs

Candace, a Georgia native, is a Registered Behavioral Technician who obtained her Bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia Southern University in May 2020. She went on to pursue a Master of Science in Speech and Auditory Sciences from Arizona State University. She enjoys being an RBT, and helping grade-school children that need support, and their families work through maladaptive behavior to achieve a better quality of life.

Candace believes that children are superheroes, and deserve all good and great things that life has to offer. To appropriate this for some, could be as simple as perfecting daily living activities, while for others it could mean helping one to recognize their own precursor behaviors prior to escalation, and discovering measures to assist in self-regulation. No matter the goal, she is
always willing to lend a helping hand, shaping little minds one kiddo at a time.

In her leisure time, she enjoys playing piano, violin, reading, trying new foods, and shopping.
